Here's the latest.
Well more good news. The pathology results from the bone marrow biopsy came back normal. So it is just a localized Lymphoma tumor. We will be going in tomorrow to get a central line put in her, where they will inject the chemotherapy so she wont have to have a new iv each visit. the Dr. said it will be once a week for "a while" then go to monthly treatments. She will get her first treatment through a spinal tap tomorrow though. He also said 90% chance of hair loss, so that will be loads of fun. NOT! He'll explain everything in detail tomorrow, I only talked to him over the phone. They are supposed to call me back today to let me know what time we go in. It's so fun to hear from those who visit this site, don't be afraid to leave a message as much as you'd like, it really gives Indie a big boost. Thanks! Love Heidi

Indie, I have a 90% chance of hair loss as well. Or maybe it was 90% of my hair is lost. Whatever. Just keep smiling, no one will notice!
Love Steve
You will have to call Randy to see if you can borrow all of his funky cool wigs! Remember that awesome shoulder length blue one?!?
love you!

I love the plastic wigs at Smiths. Have you seen them? That would be cool to just one day show up at school with one of those on! I love ya Indie!! Oh yeah...I'll remind me to give you back the gold Egyptian wig back. =) Love you all!

That just means you can find a bunch of cool hats to wear. I bet me and your mom could strum up a few baseball caps, our hat of choice in some of our old pictures. Ask your mom, she knows! Love you Indie! My girls hope you are doing good. I know you will keep everyone smiling!!
Indie, that report is sooooo good. We know that through yours and all the families faith and prayers you have been blessed and will over come this affliction. we love you so much and are proud of you being so brave. I have always wondered what I would look like with no hair so now I can find out. Any one else up to a bald head besides Jason, Steve, Randy and Darren? I'll challange you in support of Indie. Love ya Indie!!!!
Heyy there, Indie, I went through a lot of hair loss myself last year when I had stomach surgery, and I'm still dealing with it--the fact that you're such a pretty girl with so much energy and a beautiful smile makes the hair loss a lot less important to the folks who are blessed to know and love you. Even though it seems like a big deal and soooo important, the more important thing is your health--and with the changing fashions, it's so much easier to change hairstyles by swapping out hairpieces, wigs, and hats--folks will think you're "fashion forward" and on the cutting edge!! My dear pal Allison sent me the link to your page, and I live in South Florida, and I'll keep checking out your blog to see how you're doing. This is great, and I look forward to hearing from you!! Good luck :)
Indie,
I am a friend of Allie's. I feel as if I know you, from all that your aunt has told me about you. She talks of your family a lot. Your photo along with your brother and sisters are placed at her desk for her to look at everyday. I am inspired by your positive outlook on life. That is what will get you through. Keep optomistic, we are here for the ride, even if it is bumpy. Besides what fun would it be if life was a straight and flat ride? boring!! Our journey helps us to grow and be the best person that we are meant to be.
You and your family have been, and will continue to be in my prayers.

Hi Indie,I'm a good friend of your Aunt Linda. My daughter had cancer 2 years ago and had the line put in and went though the harshest cemo, radiation and drug possible. She never gave up and was always positive. She wore scarfs & hats. She called today & is doing great. My thoughts & prayers are with you,as are hers.
