September Update

Hello out there! I guess it's been a while. Summer was crazy and very busy. Indie has started 7th grade and I think she is enjoying it more that she thought she would. So if you ask her how she likes school she will most likely say, "ummm it's ok", but I think she secretly likes it. She loves her art class most of all. She has also just started taking watercolor lessons from Hellen Hepworth (a relative of Jasons) in Centerville.
Indie is doing great. She is still just doing once a month treatments. Her last treatment, which was last week was a back poke. She felt lousy for about five days or so, but she is doing fine now and went back to school today. She even went to try out for the volleyball team but I was late getting her there and the coach "barked" at her for being late so she left! I was very proud of her for even considering trying out!

Indie still loves hearing from you so don't hesitate to leave a comment. :) Thanks for your continuing prayers and support.

Indie-
In 7th grade I tried out for the basketball team. The tryouts were early in the morning and I just figured that I'd leave all my gym stuff in my gym locker and change there in the morning. Well the tryouts were in a building that wasn't part of the school and the locker rooms were locked that early in the morning. I had NO gym shoes or clothes to wear for tryouts!! My mom had to run to a neighbors house down the street (I was going to Central but we lived up at our new house by Kaysville) and wake them up and see if they had some shoes I could borrow. They were too big but I had nothing else. The coach sure gave me weird looks when I showed up late, in my school clothes and too big tennis shoes. I was SO embarassed. Needless to say I didn't make the team. I think it's awesome that you tried though! It's scary to try new things with people or coaches that you don't know at all. Don't let it stop you from trying other new things!! Love ya- Amber :)

I didn't know that you were trying out for the volleyball team. Very cool! One of my favorite games to play! All through Jr. High AND High School I wanted to try out, but never did. I did finally run for Vice President in 11th grade.

Good for you!

Love you! Allison
